Buckingham Palace has declared her queen Elizabeth II British ITV News reports that he is setting up an additional program item during his 70th birthday celebration.
The Queen will take part in the classic horse racing Epsom derby on Saturday.
The 96-year-old monarch has already canceled a show item during a four-day celebration in his memory, Aftonbladet previously announced.
On Friday, he will attend Mass at St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Horses love her so much
His illness is said to be the reason for his absence from the show.
“His Majesty has been reluctant to attend the ceremony at St. Paul’s Cathedral,” said a British court spokesman.
Aftonbladet’s court correspondent Jenny Alexandersen says the court is doing everything to protect the queen and that show points will be canceled if she is unwell.
