Strange West mixes “immersive sim” with RPG and will be released in January

Rafael Colantonio is one of the founders of Arkane Traditional Studios, but he left the company for several years. Instead, he founded a new developer named Wolfeye Studios, who is now working on the first game strange west. It’s an immersive RPG sim that was actually supposed to be released this year, but in their first series of videos about the game, they announced a new release date: January 11, 2022 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Playstation 4/5.

Just as the name suggests, the game takes place in the Wild West, but with a twist. There are not only bandits, sheriffs and salons, but also supernatural beings and monsters. In addition, a sandbox world is promised in the usual order, where factions, characters, and places interact and change depending on one’s actions.

The plot follows several different characters and then converges in a concluding chapter. However, the protection aspect should result in an experience that varies from reboot to reboot.
