It has already started sending out updates, but according to Google it may take several weeks before you receive the update. On the Pixel 7 Pro we have in the newsroom, the security update has appeared but we are still waiting for the system update that will bring the new features.
A major system update that’s on the way brings most of the features to the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro that get VPN and improved voice on calls. The last is the Clear Calling function, which should make calls sound clearer and filter out background noise. The phones update also affects Google’s Pixel Buds Pro headset, which with the new software gets support for spatial audio.
Swedish is now listed as a language
When I launched Google Pixel 7 and 7 pro in Sweden, there were many unique functions that did not yet support the Swedish language, and this is still the case, but a change is underway. With the update that’s now on its way, Live Translate is getting support for Swedish and Danish, which means text in, for example, messaging apps can now be automatically translated.
The update is rolling out to Pixel phones back to the Pixel 4a, but not all phones get all the new features. Google says An app notification from the Tips app on your phone informs you of the availability of new features.
