MilDef Integration Sweden AB, a subsidiary of MilDef Group AB, a global supplier of tactical information technology, has received two orders totaling SEK 15 million to upgrade the navigation systems of the Swedish 90 amphibious barge. The orders are follow-up deals on previously executed integration work. The planned deliveries will be in 2022 and 2023. Additional orders are likely to be within the same project.
The orders include the construction, integration, and integrated maintenance support for the new navigation systems for nearly fifty of the armed forces’ battleships. MilDef has previously carried out similar commitments on the Swedish barge fleet and with these new orders has gained renewed confidence as an important partner for both the end customer and contracting authority.
We are very proud to be part of the digitization and modernization of the Swedish Armed Forces. Chain orders like this enhance the confidence of the Swedish Armed Forces and the FMV in our products, services and systems, says Evelina Hedskog, Head of Business Unit MilDef Sweden.
