If Apple integrates its Open AI services — and its Chat-GPT — into its devices, Elon Musk's Apple products will be banned.

On Monday, Apple presented its artificial intelligence project, Apple Intelligence. One part involves a collaboration with Open AI, giving iPhone, iPad, and Mac computer users access to the chatbot Chat-GPT via the digital voice assistant Siri.
Elon Musk, who is behind Tesla and SpaceX, and who bought the X in the fall of 2022, calls the whole thing “unacceptable.”

“If Apple integrated Open AI at the operating system level, Apple devices would be banned from my business. This is an unacceptable security breach,” he writes on X.

Musk adds that company visitors will be asked to leave their Apple products at the front desk.
Apple itself states that necessary precautions will be taken, including not tracking user data.
“Privacy protections are included when using Chat-GPT within Siri. Requests are not stored by Open AI and users' IP addresses are hidden,” Apple said in a statement when the AI project was announced. Bloomberg.
