These four AI features have only been confirmed from the S24 for older Samsung Galaxy devices

Samsung has promised that many of the AI functions that were the headline figures at the launch of the S24 series will also be coming to older Samsung phones. However, information from Samsung UK suggests that there will be a limited number.

It is information released by Samsung in the UK that confirms that the Galaxy S23 will “soon” receive the four functions: Circle Search, Live Translate, Note Assist, and Photo Assist.

These four functions are therefore in accordance with Data from Samsung UK Confirmed for S23. This could of course mean that more functionality will be added later or that these are the only ones that will be part of the S23.

What Samsung has officially said before is that some functions from the S24 will also benefit older phones later, so it is unlikely that all of them will also come to the S23. Examples of functions not mentioned among those confirmed for the S23 are the AI functions in the Samsung keyboard with translation and transcription in the audio recording, summarization and translation in the Samsung Internet browser and a number of other novelties that have so far only been present in the S24-series.
