Game director Neil Druckmann says in an interview that there may be “The Last of Us Part III” in the future.
January 16th finally has the long-awaited TV series “the last of us” Premiere on HBO Max, which is based on the hit game series by Naughty Dog on Playstation.
The first game takes place 20 years after the collapse of modern civilization after a terrible fungal virus turned large portions of the population into hungry monsters. Here we meet survivor Joel (Pedro Pascal in the TV series), who is tasked with smuggling 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey) in the hopes that she can save humanity.
What begins as a small mission quickly turns into a brutal and intense journey as the two form a beautiful relationship during their journey across the fractured United States of America.
The second game, “The Last of Us Part II”, was released in 2020 and takes place several years after the first. Here we follow an older and hardened Ellie, who sets out on a vengeful journey through the city of Seattle after an incredibly unexpected and tragic event.
– We’re not working on it, but I hope this thing that explores what happens after the second will become a reality one day. She said then we’ll see.
