Skyrim will be a board game. Perhaps not at all unexpected

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will probably run on most platforms nowadays as it has been released and re-released quite a bit everywhere.

Soon, the game will also be released as a board game for anyone eager to purchase another copy of the game. The board game is called The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – The Adventure Game and was developed by Modiphius Entertainment who previously made Fallout: Wasteland Warfare.

In the game, you play, along with up to three other players, an agent of Imperial Blades who must bypass the two game campaigns. Each campaign consists of three chapters that together can take up to twelve hours to play. The choices you make in the game affect the outcome of the campaign, which, according to the developers, should mean it doesn’t restart like the other. Just like with regular Skyrim, the board game also has plenty of side quests for you to distract yourself with.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – The Adventure Game will release sometime during the summer of 2022. If you’re keen to buy, you can already pre-sell it via Gamefound for SEK 800 or more if you want expansions and other stuff.
