Skanska is building new facilities at RAF Molesworth in Cambridgeshire, UK for GBP 153M, approximately SEK 2.0 billion.



Skanska, in a joint venture with Black & Veatch, has signed a contract with the Defense Infrastructure Agency, acting on behalf of the US Air Force, to design and build a new facility at RAF Molesworth in Cambridgeshire, UK. Skanska’s share in the contract is worth GBP 153M, approximately SEK 2.0 billion, which will be added to the order book for Europe in the third quarter of 2023.

Skanska will provide US Air Force European Infrastructure Integration (EIC) work for the US Army at RAF Molesworth. The work includes a new two-storey building and surrounding infrastructure and storage facility.

Design work will begin immediately. Construction of the site will begin in the spring of 2024 and the entire project should be completed by the summer of 2028.
