“Kill Bill” star Uma Dharman He plays the President of the United States in the upcoming romantic comedy, which is being touted as the big gay movie of the summer. It is based on Casey McQuiston’s Tony-winning bestseller of the same name Matthew Lopez The film debuted at the director’s office.
The plot follows the president’s son, Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor Jagger Perez, “Kissing Booth” 2 and 3) and British Prince Henry (Nicholas Galitsyn, “Cinderella”). While they share both origins and popularity, they also share a mutual hatred between continents.
When a public feud between them threatens to destroy the relationship between America and Britain, they are forced by their families to enter a staged fight. But eventually the budding friendship turns into warm feelings.
Other actors are British veterans Stephen Fry as king, Ellie Bomber (“snake”) as the princess, Sarah Shahi (“Black Adam”) and Rachel Hilson (“Love, Victor”). The film will have its digital premiere on Amazon on August 11.
