Kate Rackham, a mother of two, from Morecambe, England, was 39 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2016.
In an interview with BBC She said that the news of her cancer was a “huge shock” and that her hair loss due to cancer treatment was “very difficult” for her.
“It breaks your heart to stand in the bathroom and watch it fall,” Kate said.
She wrote on social media about her life with cancer. On June 7, Kate apologized for her “lack of communication” recently.

She wrote that she was at home with her husband, Mark, and their two daughters and was “surrounded by love.”

On June 13, a final post was shared on Kate's X account:
“If you're reading this, I'm dead, but don't cry for me. I lived life on my own terms and the way I wanted to myself. I started writing X because I needed to vent, but what I got was so much more. You made me feel like it was okay To feel the way I felt and feel so much less alone thank you.”
