Eras Tour hit U.S. theaters last October and quickly became the highest-grossing concert film of all time, breaking records with its $261.6 million collected globally.

The concert film, which also received a 2024 Golden Globe Award nomination for cinematic achievement and box office, was released digitally in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland on Swift's birthday: December 13, 2023.

Swift announced the US digital release date in November, confirming that the upcoming streaming version will include songs from the tour not included in the film's theatrical release.

“Well, I have a birthday coming up, and I was thinking that a fun way to celebrate the year we've had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home!” I wrote on Instagram.

“I am very pleased to inform you that the expanded version of the film including Wildest Dreams, The Archer, and Long Live will be available to rent on demand in the US, Canada, and additional countries to be announced soon starting on…you guessed it, December 13th.”

Eras Tour is available to rent for £15.99 from various digital platforms including Apple TV+, Vudu, Prime VideoXfinity, Google Play, Sky Store.

The digital release is 16 minutes longer than the version fans saw in theaters, and includes three song performances that were cut from the theatrical version (Wildest Dreams, The Archer, and Long Live).

When will The Eras Tour be available to stream on Disney Plus?

Eras Tour is set to premiere on Disney Plus March 15, 2024.

The new release will be titled Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) and will include five new songs.

“The Eras Tour has been a true phenomenon that has and continues to excite fans around the world, and we are very excited to bring this exciting concert to fans whenever they want, exclusively on Disney+,” Disney CEO Bob Iger said in a statement.

What is The Era's Tour movie?

The Eras Tour Concert Film is expected to showcase Swift's ambitious Eras Tour, which will include songs from her career to date.

AMC's official synopsis for the film reads: “Immerse yourself in a once-in-a-lifetime concert movie experience with a stunning cinematic view of the historic tour that The New York Times' Ben Cesario called a 'cultural juggernaut.'

“Taylor Swift Era apparel and friendship bracelets are highly encouraged!”

Swift initially announced that she would be releasing a new concert film in August, but it was initially scheduled to be released only in the United States.

However, on Tuesday (September 26), Swift shared the news that the film will be released in over 100 countries, including the UK.

“The tour isn't the only thing we'll be doing around the world… I was so excited to let you all know that The Eras Tour concert film is now officially coming to theaters worldwide on October 13th,” Swift wrote in her Instagram announcement!

“Tickets are available now at www.TSTheErasTourFilm.com or your local theater website!”
