According to the information for 9to5Google Google will soon offer the next generation 4K Chromecast with Google TV. It's been four years since the previous version was launched and two years ago Google launched the latest version of Chromecast with Google TV – but only in HD resolution.
The new Chromecast with Google TV model will offer the same 4K resolution as the 2020 model and will also cost the same at launch – $50 or just over 800 Swedish krona with VAT and fees.

Earlier, Google happened to showcase a new remote that will come with the new Chromecast model. Your remote will have a new star button that can take you to apps you've starred.

According to Android Police, Google will likely showcase the new Chromecast model at its Google I/O developer conference in May. The technological side expects it to be released in October with the Pixel 9 phones.
