Starting in early 2022, users of the streaming service will have access to a large selection of classics mixed with new original series.
After the end of the year, customers at C More will be able to participate in a wide range of new entertainment. The service introduces a new Nordic partnership with BritBox, which brings large amounts of content from the UK to Swedish viewers.
The collaboration allows C More to expand its catalog with more than 3,000 hours of British content. We promise a wide range of high quality, with both critically acclaimed dramas, crime thrillers, sitcoms, and documentaries.
British dramas have always been held in high esteem by Nordic audiences and we see this as the perfect complement that adds breadth and depth to our content catalog, says Anna Krona, Head of Commercial at C More in a press release.
BritBox is a collaboration between BBC and ITV, and the service blends new original special productions with popular British classics. The specific titles that will be made available in Sweden will be announced at a later date, so whether or not we’ll be able to stream major viewer favorites like “Doctor Who” is coming.
