Bolide is a crazy innovation from Bugatti that has been developed to show you what you can do if you combine so much power and a crazy look where you would think a car is only available in video games. But this is not the case and 40 copies of this will already be produced. Recently revealed at Lake Como, this first model is fully functional and equipped with the now classic W16 engine. In this it gives more than 1800 hp and feels enough because the car weighs only 1240 kg. However, the production version is slightly heavier (1,450 kg) and has slightly lower power (1,600 hp).
The first customers will get their cars sometime in 2024.

After teasing and spy video, the latest Bugatti model is now introduced. It’s called the Bolide and it’s a supercar that can only be driven on a racetrack. If Veyron and Chiron are conservative, Bolide is the opposite and instead very extreme. It has a weight/power ratio of 0.67kg per horse and looks like something taken out of a video game. And for now, it is – this is just a concept so far and it is said that it has not been decided whether or not it will be manufactured. Unexpectedly, an 8.0-liter W16 engine with four turbochargers was used as the engine. Here things are further broken down, and the package delivers a whopping 1,850 horsepower and many newton meters in return. The dry weight is 1,240 kilograms, and according to Bugatti’s simulation, the car should run from 0-100 km/h in 2.17 seconds, 0-200 in 4.36, 0-300 in 7.37, 0-400 in 12.08 and 0-500 km/h in Only 20.16 seconds. The Le Mans Track Circuit de la Sarthe will take place at 3:07.1 and the Nordslingan will be completed at only 5:23.1. These are just cosmetic numbers for now, but they may become a reality in the future.

Stuff is not as expensive as expected

Inspiration will come from the car manufacturers models Chiron, Divo, La Voiture Noire, Chiron Super Sport 300+, Centodieci and the latest Bolide. There are more than 50 different things you can buy – everything from T-shirts to key chains, bags, coffee mugs and other knick-knacks. Unlike cars, things are not that expensive.
