Welcome!
I want to be able to play games in 1080p with 150+ fps. I mostly play slightly older games, like CS:GO and Dota 2, but I want to be able to play for example Diablo 4 also with 100+ fps. I’m not interested in playing in 4K.
In fact, I can handle more than 25k, but I feel it’s a bit redundant. But if there must be something so good that it costs more than 25 grand, that’s fine.
I’ve collected a pc (image and link below) on the internet of what I think it’s about what I should get, but I would welcome advice on what I could improve. You probably skimped a bit on the graphics card, and can imagine taking a little more.
Two questions I have: Intel or AMD for processors? And Radeon or GeForce graphics cards? Radeon graphics cards seem to be more affordable, when I reviewed some of the benchmarks and prices.
I’m running Linux. From what I’ve heard there shouldn’t be any issues with e.g. driven by some brands, but if anyone knows something relevant, please point it out.
And by the way, is there any reason to buy a separate sound card?
For the sake of simplicity and since I can’t build it myself, I thought I’d buy everything online.
