Guerrilla Games has carefully revealed that we are getting a third game set in the ‘Horizon’ universe.
This isn’t the last we’ll see in this world, though Guerrilla Games has announced that we’ll be getting it Third match with Aloy in the leading role.
The news was released rather quietly, regarding the announcement that Studio Director and Executive Producer Angie Smits has moved to another position as Head of Development Strategy at Playstation Studios.
“We have full confidence in our new leadership as they steer Guerrilla toward a bright future and expand the ‘Horizon’ universe with Aloy’s next adventure and our exciting online venture,” they wrote.
It will thus be a third full game starring Aloy, in addition to a previously announced multiplayer game set in the same universe. It’s unclear when it’s coming, but I think it will be until the next Playstation console before we launch it.
