A major entertainment TV channel bids farewell tonight after 20 years – and with a fitting end.

Telecommunications giant Sky is canceling its digital channel E! entertainment.

The American network is behind many popular reality shows such as Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

She is also known for other major shows – including the plastic surgery series Botched.

But after two decades of being part of Sky's entertainment package, E! It will be closed tonight, New Year's Eve.

A Sky spokesperson confirmed: “In the UK, linear channel E! (EPG No. 159) will exit Sky platforms on Sunday 31 December 2023.”

However, fans of the reality show are still waiting for the last minute as the channel will air a marathon of Keeping Up With The Kardashians as we ring in 2024.

Viewers can continue listening to their favorite shows by switching to NBCUniversal's Hayu streaming service.

It's available on most streaming devices as well as your smart TV.

A monthly subscription will cost customers £4.99, although you'll save in the long run if you opt for an annual payment.

The spokesperson added: “E! UK fans can continue to keep up to date with the latest developments in entertainment and pop culture 24/7. News Via E! Connected (www.eonline.com) and via E! Social.

“Meanwhile, reality fans can access more than 300 shows and 10,000 episodes — including many of E's popular shows — of their favorite reality shows on Hayu, NBCUniversal's all-reality SVOD service built into streaming service NOW, Sky Stream, and Sky Glass, and will come to Sky Q in early 2024.”

It comes after Sky announced in October that it would be taking Pick TV off the air after 17 years of major change.

It was later replaced by a brand new channel called Sky Mix.

The big change left viewers devastated when they discovered the channel had disappeared.
