“Bridgerton” – or “The Bridgerton Family” as Netflix insists it is called in Sweden – became an unparalleled hit when it came to Netflix at the end of 2020.
The romantic fashion drama turned the internet upside down after its premiere and proved to be a guilty pleasure series for many around the world. As of today, Netflix is the most successful English language series with 625,490 hours streaming during the first four weeks on the streaming platform. The only series that exceeds these numbers is the phenomenon squid game.
Next season, which premiered on Netflix on 25 Mars, we will mainly follow Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) – Bridgerton’s older brother – in search of a wife.
