Amazon has now given the Lord of the Rings series an official title and will call the series Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. A word full of words, but it’s probably okay to call the Ring of Power series. Or RoP if you are too stressed to pronounce words correctly. As is known, the premiere will take place on September 2.
The description of the series is as follows:
Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows a cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the resurgence of a long-feared evil in Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Mist Mountains, to the majestic forests of the dwarves’ capital Lyndon, to the picturesque kingdom of Nimenor Island, to the most remote regions of the map, these kingdoms and characters will pass on the legacies that live long afterward. They have gone.
