Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a new role in a major animated movie. This time it’s all about familiar environments for the Swedish star, as he plays an animated version of himself in the Netflix animated film “The Soccer Movie” (“The Soccer” football movie”). The streaming service describes the movie in the following words:
Four young footballers band together to help their idols regain their powers after an evil scientist steals their talent.
In the film’s trailer, which Zlatan shared via Instagram yesterday afternoon, it appears he’s getting plenty of screen time. In addition to the Swede, we can also see/hear US star Megan Rapinoe and entertainer/comedian Weird Al Yankovic, who is confirmed to be coming to Sweden on tour on March 1, 2023.
Before the news about the soccer movie, it was already clear that Zlatan would venture into the world of cinema. This then is Confirmed to have a role in “Asterix & Obelix: In the Kingdom of the Dragon”Which will premiere in Swedish cinema in February next year. Before that time, the 41-year-old Swede is hoping to get back on the football pitch after his cruciate ligament injury – and hopefully, he’ll be ready for the fixtures against. Dejan Kulusevski led Tottenham in the Champions League final.
