The “new” rainbow flag should be more inclusive – QX

There were many who reacted to the “new” rainbow flag that flew in several places on flagpoles around Gothenburg during West Pride. A yellow triangle with a circular ring was added to the flag.
QX can tell you this pride flag is from 2021 — and was created to be more inclusive of intersex people.
And now it looks like she’s a huge hit.

The new “Intersex Inclusive Pride Progress Flag” is based on Daniel Quazars The instantly iconic 2018 Progress Pride flag, which added a five-stripe chevron badge to the left of the flag representing the LGBTQ+ people of color and the transgender community. Quasar’s design, in turn, was an update of the Philadelphia Pride flag from 2017, adding black and brown stripes over the six rainbow stripes.
In other words, this is the third time the rainbow flag has been updated to be more inclusive.
