Sky Sports launches its first ever dedicated tennis channel in the UK and Ireland

Sky Sports will begin coverage with Rotterdam in February

Sky Sports confirms new home for tennis in the UK and Ireland Sky Sports Tennis is set to launch on Sky and NOW from 11 February 2024.

Sky Sports confirmed a new tennis home in the UK and Ireland on Tuesday, with Sky Sports Tennis set to launch on Sky and NOW from 11 February 2024, making tennis content available all day, every day to fans.

Sky Sports will broadcast more live tennis matches than anywhere else, bringing over 4,000 matches from over 80 tournaments annually on the ATP and WTA tours, as well as full coverage of the US Open, all exclusively live.

The introduction of the channel follows the acquisition of the rights to the US Open, ATP and WTA last year, and will add to Sky's unparalleled range of dedicated sports channels, meaning even more value for customers.

Sky Sports Tennis will be available to Sky Sports customers with the Complete, Action and Arena packages from 11 February, and viewers will be able to access multiple live stadium streams at the same time via the mobile app, Sky TV app, red button etc. Now additional streams, allowing access to more live matches.

Action on the ATP Tour begins in Rotterdam, followed by an all-star line-up including Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Andrey Rublev and Daniil Medvedev on court in Doha from 19 February.

Sky Sports Tennis' coverage of the biggest events on the calendar will be expertly analyzed by former British top players Tim Henman and Laura Robson, presented by Gigi Salmon with Jonathan Overend on commentary.

As well as being a destination for live coverage, Sky Sports Tennis will host a range of additional programming including interviews with big names, behind-the-scenes access, and expert insights on some of the biggest matches and moments of the year.

On Sky Sports, the channel will be on 408 from February 11 when the channel goes live, before moving exclusively to 407 on February 13 where it will remain. Viewers can also quickly find the channel using the voice control function on the Sky Glass, Stream or Q remote, using the search terms “New balls Please;” “He was on the line.” “Sky Tennis;” “Sky Sports Tennis Channel” or “The Tennis Channel”.

Non-Sky subscribers can stream live matches with a NOW Sports Day and Month membership, across the Sky Sports Tennis, Sky Sports Arena and Sky Sports Mix channels. Select catch-up content will be available on-demand.

The Sky Sports Tennis Channel will also be available on Virgin Media and EE TV, and multiple live streams will be available to Virgin Media customers via the Sky Sports mobile app and red button and on EE TV as NOW Bonus Streams.
