London 28 June 2017: Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe (SIEE) introduces a new video, visual and content experience on PlayStation®4 (PS4 ™). Across the interface, home gamers and other family members can easily find and stream the best videos from PlayStation®Store * (PS Store) and other third-party services.
The PS4’s new TV and video interface has a number of benefits.
- Everything is in one place – Find movies, TV shows, live broadcasts, and user-created content from all the familiar or new PS4 video partners in one place without having to switch between different apps.
- Find popular content – Get quick access to the best material from select subscription services, video rental providers, and free services.
- Get access to popular apps – Easy access to “My Videos” on the PS Store and the largest third-party video services, plus a full list of video apps available.
Blockbuster is now available on PS4 in Sweden
Today, Blockbuster Live Streaming Service is also launched in Sweden. It’s available in the new TV & Video section on PS4. Blockbuster focuses on high-quality movies and new TV series and does not require a subscription.
More updates will be released in the future to enhance and customize the TV and video experience to make PlayStation the best video place.
The new experience interface is available initially in Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Germany and Austria.
