Elbit sells business unit in the UK

The Israeli defense electronics manufacturer – which was founded in Sweden last year – has sold Power & Control, a commercial arm of its subsidiary Ferrandi Technologies, to TT Electronics.

– Restructuring is part of our strategy to focus on certain areas to support the continued expansion of our operations and collaborations in the UK, said Martin Fawcett, CEO of Elbit Systems UK, in a statement. The Power and Control Unit designs and manufactures environments called complex subunits and has a customer network with installed players, primarily active in space and security. The rest of Ferrandi – Elbit Systems will be integrated in the UK with training and simulation, avionics, display systems, aircrew survival systems, platform security and computing. Power and Control joins the Power Solutions division at TT Electronics.
