Gävle Konserthus is pleased to invite you to a Christmas party at the Holy Trinity Church with international singer Anne Sofie von Otter and friends!

Along with some of her favorite musicians: guitarist Fabian Fredrickson and pianist Liv Kanner-Liedstrom, she offers a journey through Christmas music of different ages and genres, or how about everything from Bach to Per Eric Morius, via Jean Sibelius, Chad Jones and more. Much, much more?

In short, this will be a moment to remember and warm the soul during the cold winter months!

Anne Sofie von Otter is one of the most famous mezzo-sopranos today. She performs in major roles in operas such as La Scala, Metropolitan and Covent Garden and with orchestras such as Berlin Philharmonic and Vienna Philharmonic. The list can be made long, as for her many Grammy Awards films. Anne Sophie is as versatile as she is a busy artist with many commitments around the world.

Fabian Fredrikson is a Swedish songwriter, producer and guitarist. He received his university degree from Musikmakarna in training professional songwriters in Örnsköldsvik. Fabian has played guitar on the Grammy-winning CD Douce France and on So Many Things with Anne Sofie von Otter and Bengt Forsberg on the organ. He gave concerts in Hanoi, Adelaide, Usedom, London and Stockholm.

Liv Kanner Lidstrom is a pianist and composer. After completing his studies with Dina Barakhina at RNCM in Manchester, he has emerged as a soloist and chamber musician both in the UK and internationally. Leif also appears regularly as a duet partner with Anne Sofie von Otter, with whom he has performed in Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Germany, Sicily and Sweden.
