Canada and the United Kingdom have now announced that they will boycott next year’s Winter Olympics in China, something the United States and Australia have done in the past.
As in the United States and Australia, athletes in the United Kingdom and Canada will be allowed to participate in the Winter Olympics. However, states will not send any official political representatives to the Games. There have also been calls for Sweden to boycott the Winter Olympics in China at the political level. However, the Swedish government has not yet taken a position on this issue, writes DN.
