This year's Married At First Sight UK movie has to be one of the most dramatic ever, not least because of Ella and JJ's situation. After it was revealed that JJ and Ella had been exchanging messages and flirting behind partners Bianca and Nathaniel's backs, both couples left the experiment – but now the pair are allowed to return as a new couple. So is she MAFS UK JJ and Ella still together now?
In case you need a recap, Nathaniel and Ella joined the experience as one of the original couples, meeting for the first time at the altar after being matched by a team of experts. While they had great chemistry on their wedding day, cracks began to appear during their honeymoon, as Ella insisted that Nathaniel didn't find her attractive.
Meanwhile, JJ and Bianca joined the experience as a stunning couple. During a spa trip, which saw couples separated from their partners for the day, JJ and Ella started flirting, and realized they had chemistry.
Afterwards, the pair met to play pool, and told that they liked each other. It wasn't until last night's dinner party that Nathaniel revealed to the rest of the group what happened, where JJ's partner, Bianca, discovered her husband's infidelity for the first time.
Nathaniel then walked out of the dinner party and left the experience, meaning Ella had to leave too because you're not allowed to stay as a single person. JJ and Bianca then wrote the word “Leave” during the commitment ceremony, meaning they were leaving mafs uk, also.
As she bid farewell to the rest of the group, Ella revealed that she would definitely try to make things work out with JJ on the outside, feeling like she had found the man she joined the experiment for.

News that the pair will rejoin the experience as a married couple was first revealed Mail Onlinewho shared, “After initially leaving the show when their marriages failed, Ella and JJ got permission from relationship experts to return, which certainly upset the cast, who took the process seriously from the beginning.”
Currently, JJ and Ella Do They follow each other on Instagram, where Ella recently commented with “🫶🤍” on JJ's post when he addressed the situation. “A very difficult day, not just for me but for a lot of people. I was at my lowest point throughout the entire experience. I will talk more about this when the time is right 🖤 Enjoy the show 🤟,” he wrote in the caption.
Ella also took to Instagram Stories to explain her behaviour, and in a lengthy statement, she said: “It was more than just a fantasy. I felt a spark I'd never felt before and felt overwhelmed that a straight man liked me for me.” And she kissed me for the first time in my life.”
It all seems so intense, so maybe these two are still a thing…?
