It was Sweden’s third consecutive win in European football. Linda Sembrandt’s goal in extra time against Belgium was enough to propel Sweden into the semi-finals of the European Championship against England, who ousted Spain in the semi-finals and won 2-1 after an extra-time goal by Georgia Stanway.
