Agria Vårdguide is gaining ground in Europe

After establishing itself in the Nordic region, now is the time for digital veterinary advisor Agria Vårdguide to make its move in Europe. On April 4, the app opened to incoming calls in the UK, one of the most competitive markets in pet insurance. “Growth where we’ve already established with insurance operations is natural,” says Agnes Fabricius, CEO of Agria.

Agria Vårdguide is currently active in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland with over 220,000 digital meetings with a vet in 2022. Now the app is making a step into Europe and is launching as a service to customers and other pet owners in the UK.

– It’s a natural step for us to integrate Agria Vårdguide into supply in more of the markets we operate in. It’s a valuable service among pet owners who are matched with safe, round-the-clock veterinary advice, says Agria Fabricius, CEO of Agria.

Present in the UK since 2007, Agria Djurförsäkring has developed its offer in close collaboration with the British Kennel Club. The Agria Vårdguide will provide 24/7 veterinary advice for pet and horse owners in the UK. The service is offered to Agria clients as well as other animal owners for a fee.

The most valuable client benefit described by users is the convenience of receiving professional advice seven days a week. Another important advantage is not having to go to a veterinary clinic, which is often stressful for both the animal and its owner, unless it is really necessary.
