But already in March 2023 Adeline Sterner has left the CEO position.
“Kaya needs a very present boss, and she realized that it was not possible to bring a six-month-old into the office with all the breastfeeding and other things that entailed,” she told Breakfast at the time.
Instead, she moved to the position of Chairman of the Board, with no plans to return to the CEO role. Joanna Hamren Then he took the top position in the company.
But now Adeline Sterner is also leaving the position of CEO of Caia Cosmetics.
“This was always part of the plan — a setup with a CEO and working chair of the board is not optimal in the long term, although it has been extremely valuable during this period,” she wrote in a text message.
“I feel like I contributed what I could and took the company to a good place, which means the timing is right.”
She doesn’t know what to do now (or doesn’t want to tell us).
“I believe in something being 100% playable or not at all, so I’m going to take some time before I decide the next chapter,” Adeline Sterner wrote.
Christoph Honnefelder, who already sits on the board, now takes up the chairman’s baton.
Caia Cosmetics had sales of SEK 411 million last year and generated profits of SEK 128 million.
