A small report from the Association of Relatives/Carers of Arboja

One of the most appreciated features was that the Municipality’s Digital Coordinator, Jimmy Glamsta, was present and talked about what can help people over 65 years of age. If you are having problems with a TV, tablet, cell phone or digital assistant, you have the option of receiving a two-hour home visit with a digital therapist. Good to know. Jimmy’s contact details were distributed to the meeting participants.

During the meeting, they also talked about the three trips organized by the association every spring/summer. One journey now completed, I went to Eskilstuna. There we visited the Munktell Museum, had a good lunch and then went to the Retuna recycling exhibition.

At the Munktail Museum, we were guided with stories about how it all started in the 19th century with tractors until it has developed today where many companies have merged and become much larger with the manufacture of various machines and more.

At Retuna-Galleian, world famous throughout Great Britain, we can visit 12 different shops but you can also have a coffee if you like.

Now there are two trips remaining during the summer, on 15/6 they go to Sigtuna with a visit to Bodatomtens Hantverksgård, lunch and then a guided tour of the city centre.

3/8 We go to the Frövifors Paper Mills Museum and end in Nostalgibyn.
