In the draw (27-27) between Onaird and Kristianstad on Tuesday, Brannberger received a red card after covering a shot and in connection with Marcus Olsson’s hit on the opposing team.

Olson had a nosebleed but says he was lucky.

– It is a sport that requires physical contact and you are used to putting your hands in your face, but this time I feel that it was very difficult and I felt aware and guided. And it wasn’t far from getting worse.

“I wasn’t very surprised,” Olson says.

Brännberger missed large parts of last season due to a lengthy suspension. This season, he only managed to play for seven minutes before being suspended again for elbowing a Redbergslid player.

Disciplinary Committee: “We aim to make a decision soon.”

Now history has repeated itself, and the disciplinary committee will take a closer look at what happened. Initially, he was suspended pending investigation for Friday’s game.

– The committee has not had enough time to make a decision yet, but we aim to make a decision as soon as possible, Pierre Grubström, Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, tells SVT Sport.

Marcus Olsson sees Brannberger’s history as a problem.

-It becomes a bigger and bigger topic. Personally, I used to believe in atonement and getting better, but now that it’s happened so many times, you’re not very optimistic.

-There are small margins that can go much worse. There is a worry that in the end the person is unlucky and cannot rise up.

SVT Sport has applied for Christoffer Brännberger.
