Infection rates are declining sharply in many areas

Over the course of the 20th week, 3,393 new cases of coronavirus were found in the region, which is 2,209 fewer than the previous week. During the nineteenth week, 5,602 new cases were found.

“I hope that this will also be reflected in the need for healthcare for Covid-19 patients,” Acting Health Director Johan Pratt said in a statement.

Currently, 233 patients with COVID-19 are being cared for in an emergency hospital in the Stockholm region, which is eight fewer patients compared to the last case report on May 21. Another 11 people were reported killed.
