Henrik Lundqvist becomes an ambassador for Madison Square Garden

Henrik Lundqvist continues his “post-professional” in ice hockey. On Thursday, it was revealed that the former New York Rangers goalkeeper is taking on a new role as an ambassador for Madison Square Garden — which includes work for both MSG Sports and MSG Entertainment.

MSG announced the news in a press release, but the goalkeeper’s profile also took the opportunity to tell himself in his social media post what Madison Square Garden means to him.

“Every time I step into Madison Square Garden, I feel like I’m coming home,” Lundqvist said, among other things.
