Clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian demonstrators on the Gaza border continued during the day. An Israeli policeman and a 13-year-old boy were seriously injured in the riot.
According to the Israeli army, about a hundred young men tried to climb the wall from which they threw Molotov cocktails. The Israeli army responded, among other things, by firing tear gas. The military stated that even sharp shots were fired.
The situation was critical for the Israeli border police late on Saturday. He is said to have been hit by bullets fired from Gaza. The condition was also critical for the 13-year-old boy, who was hit in the head.
The Gaza health minister said about 40 people were wounded in the clashes.
And Israel carried out, late on Saturday night, air strikes on three sites, according to Palestinian security sources.
The raids took place after Defense Minister Benny Gantz spoke on Israeli TV Channel 13. “These very serious incidents must be answered,” Gantz said.
