Since the announcement of “The Elder Scrolls VI,” Bethesda has worked hard on “Starfield,” among other things.
thatManuscripts of the Sixth ElderIt was announced at the same time it came out.starfield2018 was a mistake, reveals Todd Howard, director of the Bethesda Game Series. Even though it’s been five years since the news broke, the role-playing game is still a long way off.
Howard was asked if it was too early to reveal plans for the new “Elder Scrolls” so early in the project’s development:
– It’s something I’ve asked myself many times. Perhaps I should have stated it more casually.
The game director doesn’t want to reveal anything about The Elder Scrolls VI, but he still promises a lot about the upcoming game:
– I don’t want to answer anything, but I want to be polite. We want the game to play the role of a Final Fantasy simulation. And there are different ways to achieve that just depending on how long we’ve been working on the game.
During these years, the studio worked in parallel on both “The Elder Scrolls VI” and “Starfield” (at least). The last game has already been released 6th of Septemberso we hope that Bethesda can turn around and put all the powder on the long-awaited second part of Skyrim.
