Boris Johnson’s mother dies

Charlotte Johnson Wahl was the strong mother of the family. Boris Johnson is said to have called her the “highest authority” in the family. She died Monday night in a London hospital, according to reports telegraph.

Charlotte Johnson Wahl was an artist specializing in portraiture and had her work shown at the Mall Galleries in London. Among the celebrities portrayed by “Totally Hysterical” star Joanna Lumley and author Gilly Cooper.

– My older sister was very smart, just like my younger brother. My parents didn’t know what to do with me, so they gave me some drawing materials and it turned out I was pretty good at it. Then she told me I never stopped.

She was the daughter of lawyer Sir James Fossett, who chaired the Human Rights Committee of the Council of Europe. Already at the age of forty, she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, but continued to paint.

My mom didn’t vote for conservatives

She was previously praised by her son, the Prime Minister, with the words:

You taught me to believe that all people on this planet have alike meaning and equal dignity and value.

Although she had two sons who entered Conservative politics – Boris’ brother Joseph was a member of Parliament – she said she had never voted for the Tory party.

Parliament colleagues began sending condolences via social media on Monday evening. “I am sorry to hear of the loss of the Prime Minister. My condolences to him and his family,” Labor Party leader Keir Starmer wrote.
