At Meet Your Maker, we build smart dungeons and try to outdo others

Behavior Interactive is the developer behind it Died in broad daylightAnd now they’ve shown their new game. goes under the name meet your makerwhich is a fps where we have to build our own “dungeons” and then try to pass through other players and get genetic material that is so valuable in the post-apocalyptic world.

The genetic material can be extracted from the earth slabs on which you build your own dungeons, or you can go out to steal someone else’s dungeons, but then of course you have to survive the traps and enemies set by the respective user. It is then used to upgrade your five advisors, which in turn rewards one with new equipment to use when building or raiding.

It seems that you have a lot of control over how you want to design your dungeon, and in addition to the actual design of the building, you can also fill it with various traps and enemies. You also don’t have to face challenges on your own, as the cooperative game supports two players. When you play through a dungeon you can also give your opinion, all of which feels like a brutal fps version of Mario Maker.

On August 23, the closed playback test begins, and you can register for it over here. The final turn-based game will be released in 2023 on PC, Playstation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
