Large mobile phone screens are a turning point for many consumers. While some like being able to use the screen for most things, others think that there are computers and tablets for watching video. At the same time, there are also tablets that can sometimes be mistaken for mobile phones; Is it a big phone or a big tablet?
Samsung is one of the leaders when it comes to really big mobile screens. In addition to being one of the first to launch a foldable smartphone, another prototype has also been developed. This time it is about a smartphone where the screen – apart from being able to fold – can also be pushed out. The phone, which Samsung has chosen to call the Flex Hybrid, is designed like foldable devices we’ve already seen. The difference is that in addition to being foldable, the screen can also extend on its left side to provide additional surface area.
There is still very little information out there about the device and Samsung hasn’t said anything about resolution or brightness. However, they do mention that the screen can grow from 10.5 inches with a 4:3 aspect ratio to 12.4 inches with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
Samsung says that this concept gadget is supposed to be shown off at the big tech show CES 2023 that will be held in Las Vegas later this week.
