Annette Norberg after hitting gold: “Rörd”

She went to a tiebreaker in the men’s curling final at the Olympics after 4-4. Sweden and Lagden had the last stone, but on the last British stone it was clear that the Olympic gold medal went to Sweden.

“They are playing a fantastically good game, it’s an impressive game, I don’t remember seeing them ever play so well, to be able to do that in such a poor position is fantastic,” Annette Norberg tells SVT Sport.

How tense were you?

– Sitting and watching is worse than playing on your own, after all the praise for their opponents and the youth and how they came back after a bit of a tough start, it’s also incredibly big.

“I moved a little.”

Eden’s team took an Olympic bronze from Sochi 2014 and a silver medal from Pyeongchang 2018. Gold is missing to this day.

– It’s the medal they lost and now it’s a mixture of joy and relief, I think they feel somewhere.

– They are four individually talented hair curlers, they have worked hard and are goal oriented, they help and support each other in the curling team, which you need.

When the gold was ready, Anette Norberg was moved.

You’re happy for them and you move a little, you know how it feels when you stand there, and sports involve and create feelings, and that’s how it should be.

Annette Norberg herself won Olympic gold in both Turin 2006 and Vancouver 2010.
