Bentley’s cookbook has always consisted of formidable engines in a package whose long-distance ambitions and luxury were the keywords. We have reached the top of the Bentley pyramid and tested the new Bentley Continental GT Speed.
The electrification tsunami claimed many victims, not least those whose staple food consisted of copious amounts of soup. However, some players still struggle to the end to deliver the latest high-quality fossil-fueled engines before the end of the fun.

Performance as a masterpiece
What sets the Bentley variant apart is the real increase in performance and a greater focus on the driving experience. Speed It, as it’s known, means speed in Swedish, which is something the Continental GT Speed definitely has a lot of.
Under the hood is a 6-liter W12 engine with 660 horsepower, which helps the bastard reach 100 in just 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 335 jolts.
The gas at the bottom results in a brutal acceleration and you as an invader are engulfed in a wave of force. All of the British riders stormed the hill via all four wheels and regardless of the surface, the car is in the match.
You’re so clever about speeds that you realize that the 335’s claimed top speed is very much grounded in reality.
The Bentley Continental GT Speed also features four-wheel steering which makes it better both in town and on country roads but also increases stability at high speeds.
On country roads it’s surprisingly easy to walk, but it relies blindly on being able to go from curve to bend in any given time, rather than being able to handle curves.
However, Bentley worked hard to conceal the car’s true mass, something they did quite well. In Sport mode it feels really tight and all the car’s systems work in unison to get around at a gentleman’s speed, without it being particularly difficult.
Sport mode allows up to 95 percent of the power to be sent to the rear axle, which is favorable to its sporting ambitions; For example, a car can skid.
Regardless of your driving style, the Bentley Continental GT Speed stays put and ensures you don’t get lost. The acoustic image is gigantic and the entire package exudes the brutality you want from a Bentley.
The weight of the car is well hidden and the ceramic brakes that were fitted to our test car were much needed when the highway was converted to a country road.
Comfort in drifts
When you don’t squeeze cups that are too full and put the car in them comfortInstead, the situation is counteracted by an incredibly relaxing experience.
The difference between the different driving modes is noticeable, and in the most comfortable places there is a desire to cross an entire continent, just as the name implies.
However, in the case of our test car, the 22-inch rims contributed to a lot of road noise, not least on the highway. Thus, the noise level in the cabin is not as low as you would like.
What is one of Bentley’s trump cards is its ability to offer a combative side that encourages, to say the least, inspiring leadership with a calm-dominated side. You feel very good in a Continental GT Speed - unless you’re sitting minimal in the back seat – looking forward to long rides.
total cardamom
The Bentley Continental GT Speed is undoubtedly the most popular Bentley in the model range. Her ability to marry comfort and long-distance skills with superb athletic ability and brutal performance is nothing short of impressive.
She lives up to the designation with bravura and is great at taking on entire continents in a fast-paced fashion.
When it comes to 12-cylinder GT cars, they are one of the newest of their kind, and Bentley certainly has spared no gunpowder.

Final rating: 4.5/5
Performance, comfort and impressive amounts of luxury are exactly what the Bentley Continental GT Speed can achieve. It offers a side that’s peppered with comfort, and a really wild side. One urges to drive like an asshole while being looked after. Stockholm to St Tropez at once? Yes, thank you.
