Asus and Noctua plan another graphics card in beige brown

Asus and Noctua plan another graphics card in beige brown

In March, there were rumors of a collaboration between Asus and Noctua, and in April, the first product was launched – the Geforce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition from Asus. A month later, images from the next version were found online, this time based on Nvidia’s Geforce RTX 3080. It’s about the slightly slower version with 10GB of graphics memory, not the version with 12GB that launched earlier this year.

The new model is very similar to its predecessor RTX 3070 when it comes to appearance, with the big difference being that the heat sink has grown more. Due to the larger heat sink, the card is slightly thicker than the previous RTX 3070, but it still shouldn’t occupy more than four card slots. The fan models are said to be the same model used in the RTX 3070.

Dual 8-pin connectors are used for power supply and the card has three Displayport 1.4 ports and two HDMI 2.1 ports. The new Noctua Special Edition is said to have already found its way into stores in Europe, priced at €1,150 or just over SEK 12,000 with an unknown VAT rate, which is roughly SEK 2,600 higher than the RTX 3070.
