Jockey Charlie Deutsch, 25, had a great day on the sprint track in Cheltenham, England and took a double win with horses Skytastic and Funambule Sivola.
But it was the victory interview then that caused Charlie Deutch to be flooded with positive words on social media – a triumphant interview that went viral in the UK.
Just hours before Deutsch hit the racetrack, he received the worst possible news: his childhood friend Marcus Evans had died.
‘We are all shocked’
