Track the direction you’re heading with North Paw. Shackle the foot who always knows where north is.

If you’re having trouble keeping track of the weather when you’re outside, a little manicure can help you with that.

Several years ago, a research group calling themselves Sensebridge developed the so-called North Paw. It’s about a foot-cuff-like device that always knows which direction north is in. The North Paw has eight small vibrators built in and the one in the north direction vibrates so the wearer can tell which way is north.

North Paw can be purchased in a set for $150, which you have to assemble yourself. Below is an old promotional video of North Paw when the kit was available for purchase from the gadget site ThinkGeek.
