Will Smith was angry, Chris Rock was angry, but the question is whether Sean Penn was the angriest of them all. A year and a half after the Oscars brawl, the actor is still angry. In an interview with Variety, he said that Will Smith would never have hit Chris Rock if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had been allowed to speak at the ceremony.
– This damned shit would never have happened to Zelensky. At the time, Will Smith had never gotten out of his chair to engage in a silly fight.
Ben says Will Smith spit on himself and everyone “with that damn thing.” He compares it to an incident when he himself had to spend 33 days in jail in 1987 for beating up a man on a movie set.
