This year was no less Ollie Alexander Representing Great Britain Eurovision Song Contest with single Dizzy. He released his stage name before the match Years & years and runs under his own name, as a person he can be more intelligent because he is so strongly associated with the old group.
But it should still be seen as the biggest step up from the names the British Isles have received in that tournament. Katrina and the waves 2007 and won the whole thing Love shines? Maybe Bonnie Tyler 2013 – but it's not the best we've seen.
Dizzy Gives us a radio-friendly pop song whose intro gives the song its scent It is a sin, Ollie Alexander illustrated the series of the same name. In other words, this grand and danceable pop definitely has it Pet Shop Boys– Retro feel, of course I love it. It's warm and immediate, and I love the 90s talk before the last verse of the song. Brilliant!
Alexander says of the single:
“I wrote the song last summer Danny L HarleyWe started with the word Dizzy Because it popped into my head and I liked it. I was thinking about funny things that make you dizzy, and I remember saying, “Your kisses are dizzying,” so a song about feeling the intense rush of one's emotions turn your world upside down and inside out.
Whether that's enough for a Great Britain win remains to be seen, but if I had to choose, I'd have the Schlagerboggers take Ollie all the way from Malmö to Great Britain in May. If nothing else, the competition needs a serious commercial pop candy that will overcome all the adversity that competitors and the world must face right now.
Then it's definitely good to get a little dizzy with Ollie. yes thank you
