Herning Arena, Denmark and the football team FC Mitjelland are hosting this year’s World Equestrian Championships. The first is dressage where medals will be awarded on Sunday evening in the teams competition.
It was Denmark, too, that raised the bar. The home audience gave a standing ovation after the program of Nanna Merrald Rasmussen, who gave her 76,724 points, a personal record – and first place in the competition.

“Fortunately we have three experienced ones.”
After the first round, it was Sweden and Great Britain that were responsible for the miscalculations. Both were outside the top ten and Sweden was in thirteenth.
– Bystrom says it’s fortunate that we have three seasoned championship riders who remain on our team.
In addition to Jeanna Högberg, the Swedish team also consists of Julietta Ramel, Therese Nilshagen and Patrik Kittel. In the second round of the evening, Julieta Rammel competed for Sweden with the horse Buriel KH
