Welcome!
I am now in my final year as an undergraduate engineer in computer technology and will graduate in June. I am a person who is very interested in IT and programming.
For personal reasons, I will not be able to study the master's programme, and therefore I have to find a job in my field. The problem is that I only know a little bit of everything (imposter syndrome?) because that's what I've learned in the last three years, but I haven't delved into anything specific. I also didn't program before I started.
I also didn't do my own projects in my free time, which I regret a lot, although I didn't have enough time to study, which I managed well. But I know I have great potential, I just want to find a job where I can develop and gain more experience.
I've applied to a lot of “trainee” programs and I'm in some hiring now but my future is still unclear, and I haven't applied for regular jobs yet because they all require several years of experience that I don't have yet.
How can I find a job? How have you been doing since you graduated over the past five years?
If I didn't need the money to support myself, I would have done an internship or taken additional courses, but I need a job.
I'm so grateful for any advice I can get.
