United kingdom: Travelers from China must be able to show a negative Covid test. In addition, random samples should be made of up to every fifth traveller, to check whether new variants are arriving in the country.
France: A negative Covid test, not more than 48 hours old, is required for entry to France from China. All passengers on flights from China are required to wear a face mask throughout the flight.
Israel: Everyone traveling from China must show a negative COVID-19 test prior to departure. In addition, everyone is offered a voluntary test when they land in Israel. Citizens of the country are advised not to travel to China.
United States of America: All passengers over the age of two years traveling to the United States from China must present a negative test before boarding. This requirement is effective from January 5 and for everyone traveling from China, Hong Kong and Macau. The test must be no more than 2 days old upon departure.
Spain: People arriving at Spanish airports from China must be able to prove they have tested negative for the COVID-19 virus, said Health Minister Carolina Daria on Friday. An alternative might be to show that you are fully vaccinated.
Italia: All travelers from China must take a mandatory coronavirus test, even those just stopping over in Italy.
Japanese: From Friday, December 30, travelers from China must undergo a COVID-19 test upon arrival in Japan.
India: It introduced mandatory COVID-19 tests for travelers from China, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Thailand. The test must be uploaded to an official website before starting the trip. In addition, 2 percent of all international travelers arriving in India are randomly tested.
Taiwan: From January 1, a mandatory PCR test awaits all travelers from China arriving by air or boat in Taiwan. Travelers from Hong Kong or Macau do not need to be tested. Nearly 30,000 Taiwanese are expected to return home from China after the big New Year holidays on January 22.
South Korea: A COVID test is required for entry from China.
Malaysia: New tracking and monitoring procedures have been introduced due to the increasing spread of infection in China.
